Terms and Conditions

1. Enrollment Procedures

1.1   Students must complete the enrollment process through the official website (www.lpvasia.com) or by contacting the designated admissions officer (WhatsApp: +852 5713 0413).
1.2   Tuition and material fees can be paid via bank transfer, FPS, PayMe, credit card, PayPal, or other approved methods. Installment plans may be available upon individual request.
1.3   Students must keep all receipts, enrollment forms, and course schedules for future reference.
1.4   If a course is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment or other reasonable circumstances, the school will issue a full refund within 30 business days, subject to standard bank and accounting procedures.

2. Tuition & Fee

2.1   All tuition and material fees paid are strictly non-refundable.

2.2   In cases of serious illness (official medical certificate required), visa rejection (official documentation required), or withdrawal notified within five (5) days prior to the course start date, students may request to defer their enrollment to the next available session, subject to the school’s approval.
A 20% floral material cost will apply for withdrawals made within five days before the course begins.
The deferment period is valid for a maximum of 180 days, counted from the date of confirmation of change. After this period, the credit will automatically expire and cannot be extended or transferred for any reason, including medical or personal circumstances.

2.3   Rescheduling & Absence Policy (Applicable only to ASAF Diploma and Certificate regular courses in Hong Kong and Macau; not applicable to Master Classes or Study Tours):

  1.   Free reschedule: One free reschedule for every four lessons, with at least five days’ notice and school approval.

  2.   Paid reschedule (floral material fee):

    1. ≥5 days’ notice: HKD 300

    2. 3–4 days’ notice: HKD 450

    3. 0–2 days’ notice or same-day: HKD 600

  3.   Absence: If no notice or payment is received, the session will be marked as absent and will not be made up.

  4.   Pre-known schedule conflicts: Adjustments may be arranged during enrollment and will not count toward the       reschedule quota.

  5.   Special Note: Courses registered under the Macau Continuing Education Development Fund are not eligible for  rescheduling or absence, in accordance with government regulations.

Simplified: “One free reschedule every four lessons. Short-notice absences require a floral material fee. Master Classes, Study Tours, and Macau courses cannot be rescheduled or deferred.”

All notifications must be made via the school’s official WhatsApp or in writing and confirmed by administration to be valid.

2.4   Once enrollment has closed, courses cannot be cancelled, transferred, or converted for any reason. However, the enrolled place may be transferred to another individual before the course start date with the school’s consent.
2.5   Students who withdraw after the course has commenced will not receive any refund.
2.6   Discounts and promotional offers cannot be used in conjunction with one another.

3. Attendance Requirements

3.1   Students are expected to attend all sessions punctually. If a student arrives late and misses key content, the class will not be extended or repeated. The student is responsible for catching up on missed material; no make-up lessons or additional instruction will be provided.
3.2   Students must attend at least 70% of the total class hours to qualify for the final assessment. This requirement follows ASAF France’s official academic regulations, which cannot be altered or waived by the school.
3.3   In the event of severe weather (e.g., Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above), classes will be postponed or rescheduled. Arrangements will be announced at least three hours before class. Courses will not be cancelled, and make-up sessions will be completed within the current or next term. Refunds or additional deferrals will not be permitted in such cases.

4. Other Terms

4.1   All courses and related educational activities must be conducted through official LPV channels and designated venues. Without prior written approval, instructors or students are prohibited from privately arranging, referring, or conducting any derivative classes.
The school accepts no liability whatsoever for any disputes, financial transactions, or legal claims arising from non-official arrangements, and reserves the right to pursue appropriate legal action.

4.2   Course descriptions and outlines are for reference only. Instructors may adjust content according to students’ level and floral material availability.

4.3   The school may photograph or record classes for documentation or promotional purposes (including but not limited to social media, websites, and publications).
By attending, students grant irrevocable and perpetual consent for LPV to use such images or recordings for promotional or academic purposes, without further notice or compensation.
Students who do not agree must notify the school in writing before the course begins; otherwise, consent will be deemed granted.

4.4   Master Class Terms:
Master Classes are specialized programs involving international instructors and schedules that may be affected by force majeure events (including but not limited to accidents, illness, flight delays, visa issues, or other unforeseen circumstances).
In such cases, the school reserves the right to:

  1.   Postpone the class to a reasonable and feasible date, as determined solely by LPV; or

  2.   Appoint an instructor of equivalent qualification and status (e.g., MOF instructor replaced by another MOF instructor, French instructor replaced by another French instructor).

Such events do not constitute grounds for refund or withdrawal, and students are required to accept the revised schedule or substitute instructor.

4.5   Study Tour Terms:
The Study Tour is an educational extension program and not a travel package or tour service.
Students are solely responsible for their travel documents, visas, transport, accommodation, and itinerary, and must obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical, delay, and property risks.
Any accommodation or travel recommendations provided by the school are for reference only, and all associated risks and costs remain the student’s responsibility.
If a course is postponed, any resulting travel or accommodation expenses shall be borne by the student.
The school’s responsibility is limited exclusively to providing the floral education program. It bears no legal or financial liability for accidents, illness, flight delays, property loss, or any non-academic incidents.

5. Disclaimer & Liability

5.1   Students confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by all course information and these terms.
5.2   The school shall not be liable for any loss or damage except where caused by its gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
5.3   The school maintains HKD 1,000,000 third-party liability insurance to cover basic obligations.
5.4   In case of any dispute, LPV reserves the right of final interpretation and decision.
