LPV Asia and LPV Flower School Hong Kong (together, “LPV”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operate the website at www.lpvasia.com and the internal LPV Ads Intelligence application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, hold, disclose and protect personal data in connection with our website, course enquiries, bookings, customer service and authorised advertising operations.

1. Scope

This policy applies when you:

• visit or use our website;
• submit an enquiry, form, booking, order or payment-related request;
• contact us through email, telephone, WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram;
• interact with advertising placed by LPV; or
• ask us to access, correct or delete personal data.

Third-party platforms and payment providers operate under their own privacy policies. This policy explains LPV’s handling of data received through or generated from those services.

2. Personal data and other information we may hold

Depending on how you interact with LPV, we may hold:

Information you provide

• your name and contact details, including email address, telephone number and WhatsApp number;
• enquiry content, course interests, preferred dates and communication history;
• booking, order, payment and transaction records;
• account or membership details if you create an account on our website; and
• any other information you choose to provide to us.

Website and technical information

• IP address, browser and device information;
• cookie identifiers and website usage information;
• security, diagnostic and system log information; and
• form, booking and transaction status generated by the website platform.

Advertising and Meta business information

LPV Ads Intelligence is an internal business tool used by authorised LPV personnel to manage and assess LPV advertising. It may access or hold:

• authorised Meta ad account, campaign, ad set, ad and creative identifiers and settings;
• authorised Facebook Page and Instagram professional-account identifiers and business metadata;
• advertising delivery and aggregate performance information, including spend, impressions, reach, clicks and messaging-conversation counts;
• creative text, images, video references and destination settings used in LPV advertising; and
• operational logs, approval records and API receipts required for security, troubleshooting and audit.

LPV Ads Intelligence is not designed to provide consumer Facebook Login or to collect Facebook friends lists, private messages or non-public personal profile content.

If you contact LPV through WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram after seeing an advertisement, the relevant platform may provide LPV with the information and message content needed to receive and respond to that enquiry.

3. How we use information

We may use information to:

• respond to enquiries and provide course information;
• administer registrations, bookings, orders, payments, attendance and customer service;
• communicate service, schedule, administrative or transaction updates;
• operate, maintain, secure and improve our website and internal systems;
• create, manage and measure LPV advertising;
• prepare aggregate business analysis and advertising performance reports;
• maintain operational, security and audit records;
• prevent misuse, investigate incidents and enforce applicable terms; and
• comply with legal, regulatory, accounting and reporting obligations.

Where required, we will seek consent before using personal data for a new purpose or for direct marketing.

4. Disclosure and service providers

We do not sell personal data.

We may disclose data only where reasonably necessary to:

• website, hosting, cloud, email, analytics and security providers;
• Meta services, including Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, for authorised advertising and communications;
• booking, payment and transaction service providers;
• professional advisers, auditors or insurers;
• government, regulatory, law-enforcement or judicial authorities where required or permitted by law; and
• a successor or authorised party involved in a genuine business reorganisation, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection measures.

Service providers are permitted to process data only for the relevant service or as otherwise allowed by applicable law and their governing terms.

5. Cross-border processing

Some service providers may process or store data outside Hong Kong. Where this occurs, we take reasonably practicable steps to select established providers and apply contractual, access-control or other safeguards appropriate to the information and service.

6. Retention

We retain data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for legitimate operational and audit needs, or to meet legal, accounting, dispute-resolution and security requirements. When data is no longer required, we take reasonably practicable steps to delete it, anonymise it or prevent further use.

Aggregate or anonymised information that no longer identifies an individual may be retained for analysis and business planning.

7. Security

We use reasonably practicable administrative, technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we hold. These measures may include restricted access, credential protection, role-based controls, change approval, audit records and service-provider security controls.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will investigate suspected incidents and take appropriate action where necessary.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website and its service providers may use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, security, preferences, analytics and advertising measurement. You can manage cookies through your browser or device settings. Disabling some cookies may affect website functions.

9. Direct marketing

Where permitted and, where required, with your consent, LPV may use your contact details to send information about relevant courses, events or services. You may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe method in the communication or by emailing info@lpvasia.com. An opt-out does not stop essential administrative or transaction messages.

10. Access, correction and other privacy requests

You may request access to or correction of personal data held by LPV. You may also ask us to delete data that is no longer required, subject to identity verification and any legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution obligation that requires continued retention.

Please email info@lpvasia.com with the subject line Privacy Request and include enough information for us to identify the relevant record and understand the request. We may request reasonable proof of identity before acting.

11. LPV Ads Intelligence data-deletion instructions

To request deletion of data associated with LPV Ads Intelligence or an interaction with an LPV advertisement:

1. Email info@lpvasia.com with the subject line LPV Ads Intelligence – Data Deletion Request.

2. State the name, email address or telephone number used in the relevant interaction and describe the data or interaction concerned.

3. If known, include the relevant Facebook or Instagram account identifier, advertisement reference or approximate interaction date. Do not send a password or access token.

LPV will verify the request, identify data under LPV’s control and delete or anonymise it where deletion is applicable. Data that must be retained for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes will be restricted and retained only for the required period. We will confirm the outcome using the verified contact channel.

Requests concerning data controlled independently by Meta, WhatsApp, Wix or another third party must also be directed to that service under its own privacy policy and account tools.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal obligations or data practices. The current version and its effective date will be published on this page.
